We really enjoyed working on the project “Art under the microscope”. In this post we would like to present you some of the videos we have created for the conference.
Students looked at animal and plant cells using a digital microscope. They took many digital photos of the cells. They chose the cell that had more spots or lines, as these are generally the ones that have a higher contrasting effect among the colours.
They chose one cell and started manipulating the image creating dozens of different images of the same cell. They used filters and changed the colours and the brightness.
They then chose a music with no copyrights and using moviemaker they created a video matching the images to the song’s beat and rhythm.
Enjoy! They are very pretty!
