The Stožice Center is the main sports object in Ljubljana and in Slovenia. The entire complex includes a football stadium and a multipurpose sports hall, called arena. The Center is designed in a very modern way and with a great deal of interaction between sports and commercial activities. The Stožice Center was opened in August 2010, and since then had hosted a number of world-renowned sports teams and music performers.

It is a home stadium for Football Club Olimpija and there were also great music events organized. The stadium has 16,038 seats for football in 23,000 for concert events. The stadium area measures 24,694 square meters.
The Stožice Arena is a multipurpose event hall in Ljubljana, primarily for the purposes of culture and sports. It is the largest hall in Slovenia, which achieves all the requirements of Euroleague for playing international matches. Basketball Club Union Olimpija, Handball Club Krim and Volleyball Club ACH Volley play their home matches there. The hall has 12,480 seats for basketball and handball and 14,800 seats for concerts. The size of the hall is 14,164 square meters.
