Stanko Bloudek was the biggest Slovenian engineer. He designed ski jumping hills in Slovenia, but his name is big also because he designed the first Slovenian car. It was 80 years ago.
In 1933, he became the owner of Automontaža. It was the oldest Slovene car company. There he made the first Slovene car named Triglav. It cost 40.000 tolars (it’s old Slovenian money currency).
Stanko Bloudek was interested in math and physics. Then he moved to Prague to art academy. But he wasn’t pleased with it, so he moved again to technical school.
