Wednesday this week took place the Erasmus Plus STEM by Art conference on “architecture around us” hosted by Bulgaria.
Our school participated online on the 6th conference of our Erasmus Plus project. We shared a short video on two of the activities we dedicated to Antoni Gaudí: Clay modelling of Gaudi’s architectural elements, and the visit to “Colònia Güell” a beautiful example of an industrial village that flourished during the industrialization. Gaudí projected a magnificent church in this place, which remained unfinished but set the beginning of many of the innovations that he later applied in Sagrada Família. We spent the day there and we learnt many things about Gaudí, the historical period in which he lived, and the unique way of understanding architecture that he had.
Enjoy the video.
